Hi there! I'm Kathryn Sheahen, a passionate Computer Science student with an interest in full-stack or back-end development. Currently, I'm pursuing my degree at the University of North Texas, where I am expanding on my knowledge of programming and its many concepts. I'm also currently seeking a Software Engineer internship position.
My coding journey began in 2021 when I took a college course in programming to learn something new for fun. From there, I became fascinated with programming and decided I wanted to pursue a career in tech, and create unique applications that solve real-world problems and help shape our world. I have experience with a range of programming languages, including C/C++, Java, Assembly, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript, and have worked on various personal and academic projects. In addition to my coursework, I actively engage in coding challenges and work on personal projects to continuously sharpen my skills. I'm also involved in the University of North Texas's Computer Science & Computer Engineering club where I collaborate and learn with my peers.
Outside of my academics, I enjoy playing video games, gardening, and bike riding. I'm always eager to connect with like-minded individuals and explore new opportunities in the tech field, so feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn!
